The Package stars Marina Visconti as Steve's latest "subject." The movie opens with Marina, dressed as a postal worker, delivering Steve a package that he has to sign for. She is very insistent that he sign quickly, so that she can get on with her work, but he wants to make sure that everything is okay first. He pulls out the contents of the package: a bracelet. She tells him it looks fine and once again asks that he sign. But Steve insists that she try it on, so he can be absolutely certain that it works. He gets her to press a button on the bracelet and it lights up, and then he tells her that she must stare at it for a few moments, which she begrudgingly does.

He reads through the instructions, which guides him through the induction process. She repeats what he says in a sleepy monotone voice and is soon under his control. He tests the on/off feature of the bracelet with a remote control, bringing her in and out of trance with the push of a button.
